I woke up feeling a bit stressed out today. I just have so much to do. I have a big presentation due monday and two papers, and then I have exams the next two days, and I'm going to Morocco this weekend. I'm not really sure when I'll get that done. After school, we had those shrimp things, but they definitely didn't look cooked. I'm getting better at eating the things I don't like though. They didn't taste as bad as they looked, thank goodness. Later Jess and I had our first real visit to Hermanitos de Los Pobres, which is our service place. We couldn't find any Estancos (basically a drug store) to buy our bus passes because they were all closed for Siesta. Finally we did, but when we got on the bus we didn't know where to get off because it doesn't say anywhere on the bus what stop is coming up. We ended up getting off at the right stop, but we walked the wrong direction, and got lost for probably 30 minutes. We tried calling our leader, but she didn't answer. We asked 2 or 3 people for help, but it was really confusing to understand in Spanish, and nobody knew of the place that we were going. We finally found it, and ended up arriving about 20 minutes late, but it was okay. We are helping prepare the people for dinner, and helping feed the residents of the nursing home. It went okay. It was kind of frustrating because I couldn't really understand them that well. Hopefully that will get better. Also, I didn't actually do that much tonight. Even though I felt that I didn't get to do that much, I know there is a reason why I get to go there. God put me there for a reason. After I got back I just did homework...Another very busy day tomorrow. Morocco in 2 days!!
