Verse: I Samuel 17: 46B-47 "The whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the LORD saves; for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give all of you into our hands."

It's Monday! Classes went okay. I'm trying to change my attitude about some of my classes, and that's helping a bit. I really don't like my art or history class, but I have to take them, so I might as well just make it the best I can and deal with it! Now that my first exams are over for each class I have a bit of a better idea of what to expect on the next one. After regular classes I had a meeting with the kids that are in my service class. It was a good reminder of the story of David and Goliath, and how God always provides for us at just the perfect time. Even when we are nervous and feel uneasy about our service projects, God will provide us with the tools we need to get our work done. After that we had fish and mashed potatoes for lunch (they will NEVER, EVER be as good as homemade ones!!) Then I got to skype with more people! It helps so much to be able to do that! After, Carrie and I went running, and it was so windy that we could barely move! It felt like we were just walking in place, and then it started to rain a bit, and it was blowing so hard right into our faces! Later on we had flamenco class. It's so many moves to remember, but I think it's getting a little easier. When we were done we headed back home, and we started watching episodes of The Office. We want to watch episodes in our spare time, which isn't very much, but we'll try anyways. It took a while to find a website that we could watch on, because a lot of the U.S. websites don't work over here. After that we had a good pasta, but she tried to serve us those crazy red peppers again! We never eat them, so I'm not sure why she keeps trying to serve them to us! Oh well, the pasta was delicious! I just continued to do homework after that...
